Piper amparoense merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Piperaceae (suku sirih-sirihan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (São Paulo). Nama ilmiah Piper amparoense pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Truman George Yuncker pada tahun 1966.
