Piper betleoides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu dari famili Piperaceae (suku sirih-sirihan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Himalaya timur hingga Assam. Nama ilmiah Piper betleoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Anne Casimir Pyrame de Candolle pada tahun 1923.
