Piper borneense merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Piperaceae (suku sirih-sirihan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kalimantan. Nama ilmiah Piper borneense pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nicholas Edward Brown pada tahun 1882.
