Piper clypeatum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Piperaceae (suku sirih-sirihan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kepulauan Nikobar. Nama ilmiah Piper clypeatum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nathaniel Wallich pada tahun 1888.
