Piper secundum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Piperaceae (suku sirih-sirihan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Amerika Selatan bagian barat. Nama ilmiah Piper secundum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Hipólito Ruiz López pada tahun 1798.
