Piper tumidum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Piperaceae (suku sirih-sirihan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia hingga Ekuador. Nama ilmiah Piper tumidum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1816.
