Piper zeylanicum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Piperaceae (suku sirih-sirihan) yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sri Lanka. Nama ilmiah Piper zeylanicum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Anton Wilhelm Miquel pada tahun 1845.
