Pityopus californicus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan holomikotrofik dari famili Ericaceae yang tumbuh menahun. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Washington hingga California. Nama ilmiah Pityopus californicus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alice Eastwood pada tahun 1935.
