Plagiobothrys chorisianus merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah California barat-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan artist's popcornflower. Nama ilmiah Plagiobothrys chorisianus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Adelbert von Chamisso pada tahun 1923.
