Pleopeltis aturensis merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Venezuela (Amazonas, Bolívar), hingga Brazil bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Pleopeltis aturensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Paul Jean Baptiste Maury pada tahun 2014.
