Pleopeltis bombycina adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan epifit dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Panama hingga kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Pleopeltis bombycina diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama William Ralph Maxon pada tahun 2005.
