Pleopeltis cryptocarpos merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Meksiko hingga Nikaragua. Nama ilmiah Pleopeltis cryptocarpos diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Antoine Laurent Apollinaire Fée pada tahun 2014.
