Pleopeltis fructuosa merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Polypodiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kosta Rika hingga Kolombia. Nama ilmiah Pleopeltis fructuosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama William Ralph Maxon pada tahun 1977.
