Potentilla canadensis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada bagian timur hingga Amerika Serikat bagian timur dan timur-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan dwarf cinquefoil. Nama ilmiah Potentilla canadensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1753.
