Potentilla caulescens merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Eropa tengah dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Potentilla caulescens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1756.
