Potentilla recta subsp. obscura adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa timur-tengah dan tenggara hingga Kaukasia. Nama ilmiah Potentilla recta subsp. obscura diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Ludwig von Willdenow pada tahun 1882.
