Potentilla sinonivea adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Pakistan timur laut hingga China. Nama ilmiah Potentilla sinonivea diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Oskar Eric Gunnar Hultén pada tahun 1945.
