Psammisia urichiana merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Trinidad hingga kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Psammisia urichiana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nathaniel Lord Britton pada tahun 1932.
