Rhamnus depressa merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Rhamnaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Türkiye timur laut hingga Kaukasia. Nama ilmiah Rhamnus depressa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Valery Ivanovitsch Grubov pada tahun 1950.
