Rhamnus oleoides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rhamnaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Mediterania hingga Iran dan Jazirah Arab. Nama ilmiah Rhamnus oleoides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carolus Linnaeus dalam Species Plantarum tahun 1762.
