Rhamnus pirifolia merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rhamnaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan island redberry. Nama ilmiah Rhamnus pirifolia pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1896.
