Rhododendron dichroanthum subsp. septentrionale merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China (Yunnan barat laut) hingga Myanmar timur laut. Nama ilmiah Rhododendron dichroanthum subsp. septentrionale diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Macqueen Cowan pada tahun 1940.
