Rhododendron hunnewellianum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China (utara dan Sichuan tengah). Nama ilmiah Rhododendron hunnewellianum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Alfred Rehder pada tahun 1913.
