Rhododendron pleistanthum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China (Sichuan, Yunnan). Nama ilmiah Rhododendron pleistanthum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ernest Henry Wilson pada tahun 1923.
