Rhododendron preptum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China (Yunnan barat daya) hingga Myanmar timur laut. Nama ilmiah Rhododendron preptum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Isaac Bayley Balfour pada tahun 1920.
