Rhododendron rufohirtum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China (Sichuan selatan, Yunnan timur laut, Guizhou tenggara). Nama ilmiah Rhododendron rufohirtum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Heinrich Raphael Eduard Handel-Mazzetti pada tahun 1921.
