Rhododendron rufohirtum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China (Sichuan selatan, Yunnan timur laut, Guizhou tenggara). Nama ilmiah Rhododendron rufohirtum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Raphael Eduard Handel-Mazzetti pada tahun 1921.
