Rhodothamnus chamaecistus merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Alpen timur. Nama ilmiah Rhodothamnus chamaecistus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Gottlieb Ludwig Reichenbach pada tahun 1827.
