Rhus oaxacana merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Anacardiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko (Guerrero, Oaxaca). Nama ilmiah Rhus oaxacana diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ludwig Eduard Theodor Loesener pada tahun 1906.
