Rhynchoglossum obliquum merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Gesneriaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan Asia tropis dan subtropis. Nama ilmiah Rhynchoglossum obliquum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Ludwig Blume pada tahun 1826.
