Rhynchospora macrochaeta var. triceps merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Peru tengah. Nama ilmiah Rhynchospora macrochaeta var. triceps diperkenalkan oleh Georg Kükenthal pada tahun 1949.
