Rhynchotechum discolor merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Gesneriaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China (Fujian selatan, Guangdong timur), Hainan, Jepang (Yakushima), hingga Filipina. Nama ilmiah Rhynchotechum discolor pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Maximowicz pada tahun 1962.
