Ribes heterotrichum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Grossulariaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Asia tengah hingga Mongolia dan Pakistan utara. Nama ilmiah Ribes heterotrichum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Anton von Meyer pada tahun 1829.
