Rosa woodsii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Rosaceae (suku mawar-mawaran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Alaska hingga Newfoundland dan Meksiko utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan woods' rose. Nama ilmiah Rosa woodsii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Lindley pada tahun 1820.
