Rudbeckia alpicola merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Washington hingga Oregon timur laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan showy coneflower. Nama ilmiah Rudbeckia alpicola diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Charles Vancouver Piper pada tahun 1899.
