Rumex acetosa subsp. hibernicus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Irlandia barat dan selatan hingga Inggris barat daya. Nama ilmiah Rumex acetosa subsp. hibernicus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Karl Heinz Rechinger pada tahun 1989.
