Rumex confertus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Eropa timur-tengah dan selatan hingga Siberia dan Asia timur-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan asiatic dock. Nama ilmiah Rumex confertus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Ludwig von Willdenow pada tahun 1809.
