Rumex transitorius merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Polygonaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kepulauan Aleut hingga Amerika Serikat bagian barat. Nama ilmiah Rumex transitorius diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Karl Heinz Rechinger pada tahun 1936.
