Rumex tuberosus subsp. creticus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Polygonaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Yunani hingga Türkiye barat dan barat daya. Nama ilmiah Rumex tuberosus subsp. creticus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Karl Heinz Rechinger pada tahun 1949.
