Ryania speciosa var. chocoensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Salicaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia hingga Ekuador. Nama ilmiah Ryania speciosa var. chocoensis diperkenalkan oleh José Jerónimo Triana pada tahun 1949.
