Saussurea fibrosa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Himalaya timur. Nama ilmiah Saussurea fibrosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama George King pada tahun 1911.
