Saussurea rockii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari China (Yunnan barat laut). Nama ilmiah Saussurea rockii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Anthony pada tahun 1934.
