Schoenoplectus etuberculatus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan canby's bulrush. Nama ilmiah Schoenoplectus etuberculatus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ernst Gottlieb von Steudel pada tahun 1972.
