Scleria poiformis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering. Nama ilmiah Scleria poiformis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Anders Johan Retzius pada tahun 1786.
