Scyphostelma velutinum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Apocynaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Ekuador (Chimborazo). Nama ilmiah Scyphostelma velutinum diperkenalkan oleh Gilberto N. Morillo pada tahun 2013.
