Senecio amplificatus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Kenya. Nama ilmiah Senecio amplificatus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Charles Jeffrey pada tahun 1986.
