Senecio bipinnatifidus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Chili (Coquimbo). Nama ilmiah Senecio bipinnatifidus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Jackson Hooker pada tahun 1830.
