Senecio candolleanus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Himalaya. Nama ilmiah Senecio candolleanus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nathaniel Wallich pada tahun 1838.
