Senecio disjectus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Peru. Nama ilmiah Senecio disjectus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Hugh Algernon Weddell pada tahun 1856.
