Senecio forbesii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran) yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Mozambique. Nama ilmiah Senecio forbesii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Daniel Oliver pada tahun 1877.
