Senecio friesii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Argentina (Jujuy, Salta). Nama ilmiah Senecio friesii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ángel Lulio Cabrera pada tahun 1935.
